The RF signal is sent from the 100 KW transmitter to the antenna through a very complicated aerial switch. Then through a long wire line, the signal is sent to one of the 30 antenna masts in a field around the Prato Smeraldo building.
There are 12 masts of dipoles and 18 masts of double dipoles with reflector. There are also lots of vertical dipoles made of long wires stretched to the ground from the masts of various towers.
All the antennas are set up on 13 vertical towers with a height of over than 30 meters. .
